Setting Closure Autumn 2024

We are very sorry and very sad to announce that St Mary's Pre-School has now closed.

On behalf of all our past and present staff, and all our past and present Management Committees, we would like to thank you all so much for entrusting your children into our care, and for giving us the privilege of nurturing your children's development  alongside you. While we are obviously very sad, we count ourselves so very lucky to have so many treasured memories of the children over so many years, and to have built very strong relationships with parents as well.

We would like to thank you for all the support and kindness that we have received, and we wish you all every happiness and success for the future.

Thank you so much to everyone for their kindness, understanding, good wishes, for reminiscing and sharing your stories with us and for all your ongoing support. It has been very touching, interesting and extremely heart warming to know how special St Mary's Pre-School/Playgroup has been to so so many. Our aim was always to run a warm, nurturing, supportive, family friendly setting for everyone, and the stories and sentiments that we have received feels that we did achieve this.  We have heard about some life long friendships that have occurred for parents and children, through queuing to drop and collect your children, the various social opportunities that were organised, and through the children themselves.  All those cherished memories are and will always be treasured by us too. Almost 70 years of very special history.
